How To Set Up A Portable LED Video Wall
Optimal installation of portable LED Screens is crucial for getting the most out of their technology and enjoying a high-resolution experience. Here’s how to set them up using our ground support system:
- Place the bases on the floor with a distance of 3.5 feet between each one.
- Screw the square pipe on top of the base using the metal pins included.
- Align the tips of the square pipes attached to each base so that they are level.
- Once they are aligned, secure them with the aluminum pin and the corresponding screws.
- Rotate the rotating supports arranged on the base until the desired height is reached.
- Attach the truss vertical to the base and secure it with a metal truss pin and a cotter pin, both included in the package. In this step, you will need a hammer as an extra tool.
- Extend the vertical reinforcement by repeating this process but over the first assembled structure.
- Use the clamps and tube support to secure all the armor pieces.
- The panels are secured from a clamp bracket. The back part of it, which has the grip, will adjust to the vertical structure where you want to place the individual panel.
- The other end of the support will be used to adjust the LED panel with the screws provided in the kit.
- As a security measure, adjacent panels can be adjusted with the built-in locking pins.
- The same procedure must be repeated until the first line of panels is created.
- Once achieved, ensure alignment to continue with the next row.
- Secure the base with sandbags to create counterweight and prevent an unwanted fall.
Now, once the structure is assembled, you can move on to installing the cables to finally start using your LED video wall.
- Connect adjacent panels, both horizontally and vertically, with single-entry blue and white cables.
- The cable that goes to the electricity source connects to the last panel in the chain
- Once the installation is complete, the LED wall will turn on and the LCD screen will glow red.
- Connect the data cables to the screen following a snake-shaped pattern.
- Finally, plug the longest network cable into the last panel. You may have more than one depending on your installation.
- After configuring the video processor with the computer and the HDMI cable, connect the other end of the network cable to the processor.
